Coromandel Credenza
An inspired Coromandel breakfront credenza of classic Regency design veneered to create an attractive 'herringbone' effect. The top and front pilasters have decorative cross-brandings with a brass line inlay.
Ebonised tulip shape feet support the cabinet, with the mouldings highlighted in oil gilding, a perfect contrast to the Coromandel veneers. The doors have handmade diamond shaped grilles which are backed in a rich gold coloured pleated silk, behind which there are three cupboards each of which enclose a shelf. The three drawers have hand cast decorative ring handles.
