An outstandingly beautiful piece reproducing a design of the George III period, ca 1770. The shaped and moulded top is crafted from solid selected mahogany, additionally veneered on the top surface with finely figured "Blind Curl" mahogany to emphasise the essential quality of this piece. A single drawer is fitted with authentically designed cast brass handles of great character. Shaped matching mahogany brackets are fitted under the top section into each corner and the gracefully slender chamfered legs are decorated with attractive hand carved detailing to each outside corner edge. The piece is hand polished throughout.
