Mahogany Console Table

Mahogany inlaid console table with segmented, radial veneered mahogany top bordered with satinwood. The shaped apron is also banded in satinwood. Oval inlays of satinwood are used to decorate the tops of the legs and a collar of satinwood rests near the base of the tapered legs. A "fan" inlay is in the centre of the top. Placing sections of fruit wood veneer into hot sand produces the desired "shading" effect, to complete this traditional decorative feature.
